A person may be able to fulfill his needs in a particular country without learning its language, but it is certain that he will face great difficulty in that, especially if the period of his stay is long. Therefore, it is useful and important to learn the language of the people of the country and get acquainted with their culture in case there is a desire to reside, study, train, or even tourism.

Most of the academic majors in Turkish public universities are in the Turkish language, so it is necessary to learn the language before starting studies at the public university. This means that learning the Turkish language is very important for all international students who plan to enroll in Turkish public or even private universities, not to mention its importance in the daily life of the student, which will save him a lot.

Therefore, if you want to study in Turkey with a major in the Turkish language, you will be required to provide evidence of your proficiency in this language. Either submit a TTMER certificate at least B2 level, or if you are not proficient in it, there will be a wellness test at the university itself. If this test is passed, the student will start studying the specialization directly. Since in all Turkish universities there is a special department for teaching the Turkish language to foreigners, and these centers are called (TÖMER) or Tömer, which means the Turkish Language Education Center, and it is characterized by high quality in teaching, as it qualifies the student to start university studies well.

Or the student can also study the language through language centers spread all over Turkey, and among the most famous institutes in Turkey: Dilmer Institute, Yunus Emre Institute and other famous and ancient institutes.

Then you can take the exam in a recognized Turkish university to obtain a TOMER certificate, through which you can start university studies.
